Start a program How it worksA proven production house, with an engineering house alongside it
Seeräuber Automotive and ST Soluciones Tecnológicas operate as one contract manufacturing and automation partner. You get a decade of IATF 16949 serial production and three decades of turnkey automation engineering — on one floor, under one quality system and one contract.
A decade of serial production as a contract manufacturer: IATF 16949 discipline, mechanical and electromechanical assembly, machined components, kitting and just-in-sequence delivery — American registered and owned.
Three decades of engineering for complex automation: design, tooling, controls, high-precision milling and an electronics lab — the machines and the engineers, in house.
Nothing outsourced, nothing coordinated across two suppliers. One floor, one quality system, one contract.
The combined operation, at a glance
Engineering upstream, serial production downstream
Engineering layer
Added with STDesign
CAD-CAM-CAE, product and fixture design, rapid prototyping
Tooling
Nests, base plates, housings, harnesses, spare parts
Automation
Turnkey cells, build to spec or design and build, commissioning
Test
Production and life testers, embedded hardware and firmware
Production layer
Seeräuber, since 2014Machining
3- and 5-axis CNC milling, Swiss-type turning, sheet metal, waterjet and bending
Assembly
Mechanical and electromechanical build, integration, SMT
Quality
IATF 16949, APQP and PPAP, SPC, full traceability
Supply chain
Sourcing, warehousing, kitting, just-in-sequence delivery
A prototype, a one-off system, or a part number running every day of the year — same building, same quality system.
Complex automation, designed and produced in house
- 01Our engineers design the cell — mechanics, controls, tooling and test — with three decades of turnkey systems behind the decisions.
- 02We machine and build it on our own floor. No subcontracted milling, no waiting on another integrator's punch list.
- 03Then we run serial production on it under IATF 16949 — or we ship the cell to your plant.
Systems our engineers have designed and built
Turnkey automation for Tier-1 suppliers: mechanics, controls, tooling and test, delivered as one system.
The mechanism, the fixture and the tester come from one team
Nests, base plates, custom housings, harnesses and production testers are designed and fabricated on site — so engineering changes take days, not procurement cycles.
An engineering team, not a sales team with a shop behind it
Mechanical design
Product design and development, fixtures, jigs and tooling, with swift implementation of engineering changes.
Test and validation
Laboratory, production and life testers, load boxes, and test integration inside your own product.
Embedded systems
Hardware, firmware and software developed together, from an R&D lab operating since 2000.
Seven out of every ten people on our engineering team are engineers or technicians.
Why a contract manufacturer with its own engineering is worth more to you
01 The people who engineer the automation are the people who have to hit the production numbers on it. A cycle-time problem has one owner.
02 Machining, tooling and assembly in one building removes the inter-vendor logistics between operations — and the weeks they cost.
03 Your shop floor stays free while parts are built in an automotive-grade certified environment.
04 You contract with an American registered and owned company, and nearshore to Mexico without setting up a new legal entity.
How a program starts with us
Scope and RFQ
Send drawings, volumes or the automation specification. NDA in place first if you prefer.
Feasibility and quote
Joint review by machining, automation and supply chain, then a costed proposal.
Build and validate
Tooling and cell build, first article inspection, PPAP submission and process sign-off.
Serial production
Scheduled output, kitting and just-in-sequence delivery, managed to end of life.
Built where the assembly plants are
Guadalajara
Both plants in secured industrial parks, minutes from Tier-1 suppliers.United States
Seeräuber Automotive LLC in Texas — contract, invoice and pay in the U.S. — plus a commercial office in Howell, Michigan.Engineering sites
Saltillo, San Luis Potosí and support engineers in Toluca.Delivery reach
Turnkey systems deployed to eight U.S. and eleven Mexican states.Sixty percent of plant energy now comes from solar, cutting 26.5 tons of CO₂ a year.
Programs we have already carried
Tonneau cover relocalization
A product moved out of China with incomplete documentation. We redesigned the process from scratch, developed plastic injection and aluminium extrusion tooling and the full local supply chain, and exported the finished product to the United States.
Automotive Tier-1
Five of the ten largest global suppliers are customers, with turnkey systems and machined parts in service.
Beyond automotive
Aerospace, electronics, medtech, pharmaceutical and consumer goods programs across three decades.
